Alternity Thundercracker

Please be aware that this is not a review, as I have never had this figure in hand. The pictures were provided by my good buddy James aka Caked-Up.

 

Remarks: Thundercracker transforms into a licensed 1:32 scale Mitsuoka Orochi sports car. Unsurprisingly the same mold was used for Starscream and Skywarp (as well as Banzaitron for some reason). I think this is the first time that Thundercracker transformed into a non-flying vehicle. Well, technically small wings are supposed to be able to flip out from under Thundercracker's rear wheels, giving him the appearance of a flying car. Unfortunately, from what I've read, this gimmick suffers from a rather nasty design flaw and does't really work without deforming the rims and chipping the tires. Better to stay on the ground, I guess?
