Generation 1 Takara

Starting in 1985 Transformers returned to its original homeland Japan and began airing and selling there as well. While many figures were identical to their American counterparts (if not always in name), the Japanese G1 series also saw quite the number of figures that were never released in the West. Here they are.

Note: please be advised that this category only encompasses figures EXCLUSIVE to the Takara version of Generation 1. Takara versions of G1 figures that appeared in the West, too, will be listed under the main Generation 1 category.
