Please be aware that this is not a review, as I have never had these figures in hand. The pictures were provided by my good buddy Flo and I have reviewed other versions of these toys, which are are linked below for reference.

Remarks: Japanese Transformers fans love Mini-Cons (or Microns, rather), so it's not a big surprise that the Micron Legends line - Takara's version of Transformers Armada - featured even more Mini-Cons than its Western counterpart. One of the all-time favorites are these guys here, who were first released as the Armada Air Defense Team before getting an "evil" repaint in the form of the Air Assault Team, both of whom you can find here on this site. Just like the X-Dimension Air Defense Team. So nothing really new here, just three Mini-Cons who transform into jets and combine into a big sword (called Dark Saber here). The main difference between the Hasbro Armada and Takara Micron Legends version is that Takara used transparent parts, plus some minor color variations.
