Know your enemy and he's yours!
A bold and daring soldier. Often breaks away from cargo-hauling missions to join his fellow Autobots on the battlefield. A tactical genius on the front line. Trailer converts to turbo-boosted, supersonic fighter jet armed with wing-mounted, double-barrelled machine guns. Laser-guided, lock-target scanners provide pinpoint firepower. Capable of reaching speeds in excess of Mach 2. Also equipped with hydrofoil capabilities.

Robot Mode: Overload in robot mode is somewhat reminiscient of Optimus Prime, but only somewhat. The boxy torse is the truck cap, the arms are smokestacks, and the rear of the truck becomes the legs. Detailing, posability, variety of colour, forget about it! As a Micromaster he doesn't have any of that.

Vehicle Mode: In vehicle mode Overload reminds me a bit of Ultra Magnus, a truck with an open car carrier trailer. This might actually be Overload's best mode, seeing as it looks pretty much like what it's supposed to be. But that's it.

Partners / Add-Ons: Overload's trailer converts into a fighter jet with guns on the wing tips. The basic design isn't bad, but detailing is pretty much nil and the whole thing just looks kinda boring. And with Overload only able to stand on it, not sit inside it, it sort of ruins the image of a supersonic jet.

Remarks: I never really liked the Micromasters. Born out of Hasbro's attempt to partake in the success of Matchbox's Micro Machines, they were small, barely detailed, barely posable, and just plain boring for the most part. Overload's one claim to fame is that he gave his name to the Armada figure of the same name. I got him as part of a small collection I bought, otherwise I wouldn't have bothered.
