While this site is dedicated to the transforming robots from Hasbro and Takara-Tomy, I do occasionally collect, photograph, and even review other toys which are not from the Transformers brand or in any way affiliated with it. So these have to go somewhere, too, and here we are:

Galactic Patrol: Lensman

Based (loosely) on the classic Space Opera by E.E.Smith, this 1984 Anime Series brought us the adventures of Lensman Kimball Kinnison and his courageous friends as they fight against the evil Boskone empire. Any similarities to Star Wars are fully intended, I presume.

Voltron - Defender of the Universe

From days of long ago, from uncharted regions of the universe, comes a legend. The legend of Voltron - Defender of the Universe. A mighty robot, loved by good, feared by evil. And he comes in toy form, too.

Gobots

While Hasbro's Autobots and Decepticons fought over Cybertron, Tonka's Guardians and Renegades waged war on the planet Gobotron. While the Gobots didn't have the staying power of the Transformers, they were pretty big in the 80s and so a few Gobot toys have found their way to me as well.

Hot Toys

Hot Toys specializes in 1:6 scale figures that are so realistic you think you're looking at actual people. There figures are pricey, granted, but well worth the cash. Here are the ones I own.

Ironman

When Tony Stark puts on his famous suit of high-tech armor, he becomes an invincible force for good, the Golden Avenger called Ironman. Ironman has been around since 1963, but has truly come into his own ever since the first live-action movie starring Robert Downey Jr. Here you can find toys from the two blockbuster movies and everything else that is Ironman.

Masters of the Universe

Ever since a guy called Adam, Prince of Eternia, first raised his magic sword and said "By the Power of Grayskull", I've been a huge fan of the various incarnations of the Masters of the Universe. Here are some figures I've collected, ranging from the original toyline all the way to the current Classic line of collector figures.

Masters of the Universe - Classics:

Masters of the Universe - Vintage

Masters of the Universe 2002

New Adventures of He-Man

Mega Construx

M.A.S.K.

Millionaire Matt Trakker leads a group of secret agents, whose faces are hidden behind high-tech masks and whose ordinary-looking vehicles are actually disguised combat machines. The "Mobile Armored Strike Kommand" protects the world from the ambitions of Miles Mayhem and V.E.N.O.M., the "Vicious Evil Network of Mayhem".

Adventures of the Galaxy Rangers

In the 2086 two peaceful aliens journeyed to Earth, seeking our help. In return they gave us our first hyper drive, allowing mankind to open the door to the stars. We have assembled a team of unique individuals to protect Earth and our allies, courageous pioneers committed to the highest ideals of justice and dedicated to preserving law & order across the new frontier. These are the adventures of the Galaxy Rangers

Bravestarr

On the distant planet New Texas the rare mineral Kherium has attracted the most ruthless outlaws from across the galaxy. Only a single law man stands ready to maintain law and order. Armed with the powers of hawk, wolf, puma, and bear, he is Marshall Bravestarr, champion of justice.

G.I.Joe

For nearly half a century now there's been G.I.Joe, the real American Heroes that protect the world from evil (personified as the terrorist organization Cobra since the 80s). In Europe in the 80s the toys were available under the header Action Force. A few items have snuck into my collection as well.

DC Universe / Multiverse

When a certain guy in blue spandex called Superman debuted in 1938, it launched the DC era of comics. Batman, Wonder Woman, Green Lantern, Flash, and many others joined the Man of Steel to protect the Earth from the likes of Lex Luthor, Joker, Brainiac, Sinestro, and others. And of course quite a few of these famous characters have been made into toys as well.

Marvel Universe

Since the early 1960s the superheroes of Marvel have fought evil in the pages of comic books. Naturally there are toys of those heroes as well. I'm not a big collector of superhero toys, but some have made their way to me regardless.
