Speed Limit? What Speed Limit?
Sideburn got a new Spark engine and was amazed at the results. His speed and acceleration power jumped up to infinite levels, and now he is able to warp short distances on the highway. He loves to go fast just to see the blur of the world shooting past him, but he knows his speed is important in the fight against the Predacons.



Remarks: Super-Mode Sideburn is a repaint of the first, blue-coloured Sideburn, so see there for the full review. Just some words on the differences here. Instead of blue, Sideburn's supermode now sports a mostly red colour, making him resemble G1 Hot Rod in colour now, not just in character. Being a red sportscar with yellow flames pretty much fits with Sideburn's character as he was portrayed in the RID cartoon series.

Interestingly enough Sideburn in the cartoon always had a thing for red sportscars. Now he's one himself. I'll leave the rest up to your own imaginations. I wonder if there's any fanfiction about that out there somewhere. Anyway, while I consider Sideburn possibly the worst of the three Autobot Brothers because of the amount of kibble that restricts his posability, he looks really, really good in car mode and has a great TV-likeness. So still a solid recommendation.
