Series: Armada As you command.
Demolishor fights ferociously in every battle to which he's sent, regardless of the odds. If Megatron tells him to do something, he does it without hesitation. To Demolishor, a leader must always be obeyed at any cost. Megatron values the unswerving loyalty of his best soldier, but abandons him, when necessary, to save his own life. Demolishor has never resented any of these betrayals. But will there come a day when Demolishor questions the orders of his leader?
A good likeness to his TV counterpart, Demolishor looks every bit the heavily armed brute that he is. He has some interesting features, such as the gun-barrel fingers and his tank-thread legs, leaving little doubt what he transforms into. His posability is quite good, if short of excellent, and he offers very little to complain about. He can convert into a sort-of attack mode by flipping over his arms, aligning the missile launchers and folding up his gun-hands on top of them. All in all a good robot mode.
Demolishor transforms into a kind-of tank / mobile artillery launcher. While the vehicle itself doesn't look bad, it doesn't exactly look like any military vehicle you'd find on Earth. That, plus the seat behind the guns somewhat confuses the size issue, making you wonder what scale he's supposed to be in this mode. All in all, though, a decent enough mode.
Partners / Add-Ons:
Demolishor's Minicon partner Blackout transforms into a little tank vehicle. He can either ride between Demolishor's tank threads or sit in his gunner's chair in tank mode, or he can attack to the side of the right arm / right missile launcher and activate... something. The missiles extend out a bit, but that's pretty much it. He's a decent Minicon, but does little to improve his bigger partner or activate cool gimmicks.
Demolishor was one of the Decepticon mainstays in Armada, but didn't get to shine as a character until early on in the Energon series. At least until they reformatted him, then he turned back into a dumb brute. Anyway, as a toy he's good, but nothing special. The Minicon gimmick is a bit wasted in my opinion, but that doesn't hurt the figure much. A good addition to your Decepticon ranks.
